Quality Health Network, an affiliate of Contexture and the region’s health information exchange celebrates 20 years of connecting care providers and innovating in western Colorado in 2024.

QHN has worked for two decades to connect medical, behavioral, and social organizations to securely provide crucial health data that ensures people get the care and services they need quickly and efficiently across our community.

Our second quarter focuses on one of our core values- Integrity in Service: Connecting Across a Varied Landscape.

Building a network across 30,000 square miles of mountainous terrain and a mosaic of doctors, hospitals, and other providers presented a challenge that the early employees and stakeholders of QHN had to navigate creatively.

Today we connect healthcare providers across 14 counties in western Colorado, normalizing and aggregating data from hundreds of disparate health systems into one easy-to-use HIE platform.
