We are now receiving
COVID-19 Results

QHN is now receiving COVID-19 results from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) along with other COVID-19 results from area hospitals. We will send the results to you for any of your subscribed patients. The results are also available in the QHN system.

Hospital Protocol for COVID Potential Patients

Attention Mesa County Physicians:

In an effort to reduce exposure of COVID-19 to our healthcare workers and other Emergency Department patients, all Mesa County area hospitals are requesting that you refrain from sending patients who you believe could be positive for COVID-19 to the hospital, unless their symptoms require emergency attention.  If symptoms do not fall under emergency criteria and they do not require hospitalization, the patient should be advised to stay home and follow routine protocols for managing cold or flu-like symptoms.

At this point, we do not have additional testing capabilities or interventions for patients with mild to moderate symptoms.

We thank you for your cooperation to help us reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep our healthcare workers safe.

As our state and nation have asked for all healthcare clinicians and support staff – especially those retired from medicine – to volunteer their efforts to assist with care as part of the COVID-19 mobilization, we are initiating an expedited onboarding process for new QHN users.

If you need to quickly add new users to the system during the pandemic, the Designated Organization Contact can provide the following to support@qualityhealthnetwork.org:

  • First Name, Last Name
  • Title (NPI, or license number if applicable)
  • Location they will be working
  • Valid email address
  • Last 4 SSN
  • Month and day of Birth

  • Utah Health Information Network (UHIN, Utah HIE)
  • VA Hospital
